HOLD MUSIC

Hold Music gives you control over what callers hear while they wait for their call to be answered. With the Intulse Account Center, you can choose from sample music options, upload your own audio files, and create different music categories to fit your business's needs.

System administrators have full access to the hold music for your organization using the Account Center. Locate Hold Music in the Phone System menu and expand the heading. Here you will see options to both Manage and Create hold music.

CREATE HOLD MUSIC

The Create Hold Music page will allow you to set up multiple categories of music.

• Each account has a default category. This is the music that will be used when a caller is placed on hold or sent to the Parking Lot.
• Any additional categories created by you can be applied to Ring Groups or Queues.

Give the category a name and click Create.

• If you want callers to hear holiday specific music, you could create holiday related categories.
• If you want callers to hear recordings promoting different aspects of your company, you could create a promotional playlist.
• Or you can just have one regular default playlist. This is the most common option.

Once you click Create, you will be taken to the Manage screen to select the music and settings for this category. Click here to learn how to manage your music.
