NEXTAGENCY INTEGRATION


Intulse's integration with NextAgency merges your phone with your NextAgency account. With the integration enabled, any screen in the Intulse App that would normally display a simple phone number will instead automatically search your NextAgency database and return any contact records that match that phone number.

When you receive an incoming call, instead of displaying the caller ID, your phone system will display the name of the caller as it appears in your NextAgency records. You can click on the caller’s name to open their records within NextAgency. You can quickly add your own commentary to the call log, which will automatically contain basic information about the call, such as the user and extension on your system with whom the call was connected, the date and start time of the call, the duration of the call, whether the call was inbound or outbound, and the external phone number. A copy of the call recording is also attached to the call log if it was recorded.

You will be able to send text messages and start calls to NextAgency contacts directly from within the Intulse App by simply searching for a contact name on the My Phone screen.

Furthermore, if you have the Intulse Companion App installed in your browser, you will be able to start calls and text message conversations directly inside NextAgency by simply clicking on a phone number.

To experience the integration between Intulse and NextAgency, you will need to use the Intulse App.

CONNECTING NEXTAGENCY TO THE INTULSE APP

This guide assumes that you have already installed and logged into the Intulse App on your favorite device. If you need help installing and navigating the App, click here for a complete walkthrough.

There are a few steps that need to be completed within NextAgency before you can get things set up on our end.

System Administrators

Only a system administrator of your NextAgency and Intulse accounts will be able to complete the following steps to set up your integration.

  1. Begin by locating your Master API Key in the Intulse App.
    • Go to the More tab in the menu.
    • Select API Access from the menu options.
    • Highlight and copy your Organization API Key.

  1. Enter your API Key into your NextAgency settings.
    • Log into NextAgency.
    • Navitage to Settings > Integrations > Intulse.
    • Paste the API Key in the appropriate field.
    • Click Save.

Now that you've set up your API key with NextAgency, you're ready for the following steps to finish linking your NextAgency and Intulse accounts.

  1. Navigate back to the More tab in the Intulse App menu.
  2. Select NextAgency from the list of options.
  3. Enter your NextAgency Instance Url.
    • This step must be completed before each user can proceed.
  4. Use the drop-down list to select any users who should be excluded from automatic call logging.

All Users

Once your system administrator has completed setting up the integration for your organization, each user on the Intulse system must complete the following steps.

  1. Open the Intulse App.
  2. Click the Authorize Intulse button.
    • This will open a new window notifying you that your account has been authorized.
    • Once you've completed the authorization process, you should see a banner in the Intulse App notifying you that your connection process was successful.
