HUBSPOT INTEGRATION

Intulse's HubSpot VoIP integration merges your phone with your CRM. Any screen in the Intulse App that would normally display a simple phone number automatically searches the caller ID within HubSpot and returns any contact records that match.

When someone calls you instead of displaying the Caller ID you'll see the name of the contact as it appears in HubSpot and can click on the name to launch their account within HubSpot. You can quickly add call notes to a contact's activity and the note will automatically contain all the basic information about the call such as start time, duration, direction (inbound/outbound), and if the if the call was recorded, a link to the recording.

To experience the integration between Intulse and HubSpot you will need to use the Intulse App.

CONNECTING HUBSPOT TO THE INTULSE APP

This guide assumes that you already have the Intulse App on your favorite device and that you are already logged in. If you need help getting into the App click here to learn more.

1. Create a Private App in Hubspot (you can read more about Private Apps on the Hubspot developer website)
   • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon in the main navigation bar.
   • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Integrations > Private Apps.
   • Click Create private app.
   • On the Basic Info tab, configure the details of your app:
     • Enter your app's name, we recommend "Intulse".
   • Click the Scopes tab.
   • Select the checkbox for each of the following scopes: (You can also search for a specific scope using the Find a scope search bar)
     • crm.objects.contacts.read
     • crm.objects.contacts.write
     • crm.objects.companies.write
     • crm.objects.companies.read
   • After you're done configuring your app, click Create app in the top right.
   • Make note of your Access Token, you're going to need to enter that in the Intulse App in the upcoming steps
2. In the Intulse App, click the More icon on the menu
3. Click HubSpot in the More menu
4. Enter your Private App Access Token from the Private App you created in Hubspot.
5. Optionally, you can turn automatic call logging on/off. This will cause every incoming and outgoing call that can be matched against a contact to be logged right after the call ends.
6. Save your changes
