CONTACTS

The contacts screen serves as a lightweight contact management tool. Create contacts for your individual contact list or share them with your team. Contacts created here will allow any screen in the Intulse app to show a caller's name instead of just a phone number. If you're using the app on a mobile device, you will also have access to the contacts on your iOS or Android device.

ADD A CONTACT

To add a new contact, click Add Contact at the top of the screen. To edit a contact, click on the name of the contact you wish to edit.

  • Enter the contact's Full Name.
  • You can also enter other information such as company name, job title, email addresses, and notes.
  • Enter the contact's phone numbers and you will be able to search for them by name within the app.
  • Start a call or text to any contact by clicking a phone number if the companion app is installed.
  • Click Save to add this entry to your individual contact list.

  • Check the box to Allow anyone in your organization to see a new contact.

You can view and manage all contacts on your individual list. Shared contacts can be viewed by everyone but can only be managed by the user who created the entry.

IMPORT CONTACTS

You can import contacts into the Intulse app from a CSV file that has been exported from other applications such as Google Contacts or Outlook Contacts. If you are attempting to import contacts from a system we can't recognize, the easiest way to do that is to first export your Intulse contacts, open the exported CSV, convert the exported file from your other system into the Intulse format, and finally import the converted file back into the Intulse app. (The file must include both FullName and CompanyName columns, even if the CompanyName values are empty.)

EXPORT CONTACTS

You can export your contacts to a CSV file, which can be opened in any spreadsheet editing software. This can be used to import the contacts you've created in the Intulse app into another app.

MOBILE CONTACTS

The Contacts screen on your mobile device looks slightly different than a desktop.

Mobile Contacts

The Contacts screen is found on the More Menu.

Contacts from Device

You also have access to the contacts on your iOS or Android device.
