Note: Depending on the VVX model you are provisioning these steps may vary slightly. Please refer to the device administration guide for additional information.
FACTORY RESET
Press the Home Button Home button.
Select the Settings option.
For VVX 101, VVX 201, and VVX 301, Settings is located on the second page. Scroll to the right to locate the second page of the menu.
For VVX 400/410, VVX500/510, and VVX 600, Settings is located on the bottom row of the menu.
Select Status or press 4.
Select Network or press 2.
Select TCP/IP Parameters or press 1.
Open Chrome and go to http://IPADDRESS/ where IPADDRESS is the IP Address from above. (e.g. http://192.168.0.123/)
Login as “admin”, the default password is “456”. If that password doesn’t work it means your phone has a different password set and you’ll need contact whomever configured your phones to get that password
Using the menu at the top of the screen, go to “Utilities” > “Phone Backup & Restore”
Expand the “Global Settings” section
Press the “Restore” button, press “Yes” on the confirmation screen
UPDATE FIRMWARE
After your phone reboots repeat steps steps above to get logged into the phones admin web page
Using the menu at the top of the screen, go to “Utilities” > “Software Upgrade”
Press “Check for Updates”
Under the “Software Available at Polycom Server” section, select the highest version available
Press the “Install” button, press “Yes” on the confirmation screen, and then press “Accept” on the license agreement screen
The phone may reboot several times to complete the upgrade
CONFIGURE FOR INTULSE PROVISIONING
After your phone reboots repeat steps steps above to get logged into the phones admin web page
Using the menu at the top of the screen, go to “Settings” > “Provisioning Server”
Expand the “Provisioning Server” section
Set “Server Type” to “HTTP”
Set “Server Address” to “boot.intulse.net/polycom”
Set “Server User” to your client Id number (this was supplied to you when you first ordered, if you do not have this please contact the Intulse support team)
Set “Server Password” to your provisioning password (this is the same for all your phones and is distict from any other passwords used with Intulse, to get this password please contact the Intulse support team)
Expand the “DHCP Menu” section
Set “Boot Server” to “Static”
Press the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen
Using the menu at the top of the screen, go to “Utilities” > “Reboot Phone”, then click “Yes” on the confirmation screen
