Business Messaging with Intulse is now even more awesome!

The Intulse team has made several updates to our text messaging capabilities over the past few months.

1. The Intulse App now contains a new “Blocked SMS” report screen which allows administrators to block numbers from texting your organization’s phones.

Adding a number to the list will stop that number from being able to text your organization at all on the number you specify. Numbers on this list can be changed or deleted at any time by your system administrator. Details on how to manage this report can be found in the "Intulse App" walkthrough on the support site, under the reports tab.

2. There is also a new “Text Message Activity” report available to system administrators in the app.

This report shows all SMS text messages sent or received by your Intulse phone numbers within a selected date range. This report includes any images or files included in a text and can be run in a browser window or exported to an Excel document. More information on running and exporting this report can be found in the "Intulse App" walkthrough on the support site, under the reports tab.

3. More types of files can now be attached to text messages.

A variety of image, audio, and video files can now be attached to texts, as well as pdf and zip files. Texting can also now support larger message content and file attachments.

4. SMS text delivery messages have recently been improved.

More specific failure messages have been created to help you better understand why a text message has not been delivered.

5. Through a new infrastructure partnership, we have improved the reliability of our SMS text message service.

Intulse clients are now experiencing a 99.99% text message delivery rate.

6. SMS text conversations can now be claimed and marked as private.

Any text messages sent or received via your organization’s Intulse numbers can now be claimed by a member of your organization. This lets the rest of your team know that the conversation is being handled by a specific individual. Additionally, the conversation can be marked as private, which will not stop others from seeing that the conversation exists; however, it will make the content invisible to anyone other than the user who has claimed it. More information on claiming conversations can be found in the "Intulse App" walkthrough on the support site, under the chat tab.

As always, we here at Intulse are so appreciative of our partnership with your organization and the opportunity to serve you. If you have any questions or need any text messaging support, please feel free to contact us via a support ticket, or give us a call. We are happy to help you any way we can!
