OVERVIEW
The WH62 uses Acoustic Shield technology to filter out background noises. The 2x microphone design provides clear voice quality for your listeners. It supports dual device connections, pairing with both your PC and desk phone simultaneously.
PAIRING BASE & HEADSET
Before you begin, make sure the base has been connected to a power supply.
Dock the headset in the base.
The headset is immediately paired with the base. The LED on the headset will glow green for 5 seconds, and then indicates the charging status.
You can pair up to 4 headsets to one base. After being paired, the headset will remain paired even when undocked.
CONNECTING HEADSET TO PC/DESK PHONE
Use the USB cable to connect the base of your headset to either your computer or your desk phone.
BUTTONS & INDICATORS
Base
- The Audio Status LED alerts you to the audio status between the base and headset.
- Solid green indicates the audio connection is normal.
- Flashing orange indicates the headset is disconnected from the base.
- The Mute Status LED alerts you when the headset is muted.
- Press the PC Button if your headset is connected to your PC to enter the softphone dialing screen, answer, or end a softphone's call.
- LED is off: the device is not connected to your PC.
- LED glows white: the device is connected and in the idle state.
- LED glows green: the headset is in a call.
- LED fast flashes green: the phone is ringing.
- LED flashes double green: the caller is on hold.
- Press the Phone Button if your headset is connected to your phone to enter the phone dialing screen, answer, or end a phone call.
- LED is off: the device is not connected to your desk phone.
- LED glows white: the device is connected and in the idle state.
- LED glows green: the headset is in a call.
- LED fast flashes green: the phone is ringing.
- LED flashes double green: the caller is on hold.
- Hold the Voice Assistant Button/Teams Button to activate the voice assistant or to activate Cortana.
- LED is off: Teams is disconnected.
- LED glows white: Teams is connected.
- LED flashes white: there are missed calls or voicemails, or Teams is connecting.
Headset
- Press the Mute Button to toggle the microphone on and off.
- Touch the Volume Up or Volume Down buttons to adjust the volume on your headset.
- The Status and Busylight LED indicates the charging, Teams, or call status of the headset.
- LED is off: the headset is powered off or idle and not on the base.
- LED flashes red and green alternatively: firmware updates are available.
- LED slowly flashes orange: the headset is out of range.
- Related to Charging:
- LED flashes red: the battery is between 0-19%.
- LED flashes green: the battery is between 20-99%.
- LED glows green: the battery is full. (100%)
- Related to Calls:
- LED fast flashes red: the phone is ringing.
- LED glows red: the phone is in a call and on mute.
- LED flashes double red: caller is on hold.
- The Call Control Buttons performs a variety of functions.
- Hold for 3 seconds to power the headset on/off.
- Press once to answer or end an incoming call.
- Double press to reject an incoming call.
- When on a call:
- Hold for 2 seconds when on an active call to answer a new incoming call. This puts the active caller on hold.
- Hold for 2 seconds to switch between active and held callers.
- Teams Calls
- Hold for 2 seconds to activate Cortana.
- Press once to invoke the teams client in the idle state.
FACTORY RESET
Resetting your headset to factory defaults will clear the list of paired devices and reset all settings.
To reset your headset to factory defaults, hold the PC Button AND Phone button for 6 seconds.
The base will reboot and all settings will return to their default configuration.
USING YOUR HEADSET
- To Answer a Call, do one of the following:
- Press the Call Control Button on the headset.
- Undock the headset.
- Press the PC Button or Phone Button on the base.
- To End a Call, do one of the following:
- Press the Call Control Button on the headset.
- Dock the headset.
- Press the PC Button or Phone Button on the base.
- To Reject an Incoming Call, do one of the following:
- Double press the Call Control Button on the headset.
- Double press the PC Button or Phone Button on the base.
- To Redial, do one of the following:
- Double press the Call Control Button on the headset.
- Double press the PC Button or Phone Button on the base.
- To Hold/Resume a call:
- Hold the Call Control Button on the headset for 2 seconds.
- To Mute/Unmute a caller, do one of the following:
- Press the Mute button on the side of the headset.
- Move the microphone arm Up to mute and Down to unmute.
TRANSFER BETWEEN DESK PHONE AND HEADSET
Calls that are answered on a headset can be transferred to your desk phone and vice versa.
Transfer from Headset to Desk Phone
When a call is answered on your headset, it can easily be transferred to the connected desk phone.
- Pick up the handset.
- Press the speakerphone key.
Transfer from Desk Phone to Headset
When a call is answered on your desk phone, it can easily be transferred to the connected headset.
- Press the Call Control button on the headset.
- Lift the headset from the base.
HANDLING MULTIPLE CALLS
The headset and base can accept and handle multiple calls at the same time.
To end the current call and answer an incoming call, press the Call Control button.
To put the current call on hold and answer an incoming call, hold the Call Control button for 2 seconds.
To switch between a held call and active call, hold the Call Control button for 2 seconds.
To reject an incoming call while on a current call, double press the Call Control button.
