INTULSE FAXPRO DEVICE SETUP

Your FaxPro device from Intulse (manufactured by AudioCodes) will only work correctly if it is connected properly to both your fax machine and your network.

1. Connect your FaxPro device to your network using a standard ethernet cable. The cable MUST be connected to the WAN port. Do NOT connect an ethernet cable to the LAN/PC port unless specifically instructed to do so by Intulse support.
2. Connect your FaxPro device to your fax machine using a standard analog telephone cable (2 pin RJ11). The cable MUST be connected to the PHONE 1 port. Do NOT connect a telephone cable to the PHONE 2 port unless specifically instructed to do so by Intulse support.
3. Connect your FaxPro device to power using the supplied power adapter and cable. The cable MUST be connected to the 12VDC port.

FAX MACHINE SETTINGS

It is very important that you have your fax machine set for tone dialing and not pulse dialing. Pulse dialing is an extremely old technology and will not work with your modern Intulse equipment.

• Baud rate set to 9600
• Error correction disabled
• Set the fax machine to fax only (no voice)
• Auto answer on the first ring is enabled.
